NEW Story Time Yoga: Mommy & Me

20-20-2020 minutes of easy-to-follow, low-impact cardio exercise, followed by 20 minutes of light strength training with tubing and weights (chairs are used as well for those who may need it), and completed with 20 minutes of chair yoga and stretching.  All fitness levels are welcome.

Chi Gong:  Simple, highly oxygenating movements to wake up the body's ability to balance itself.  Chi Gong loosens and limbers the muscles, helps with stress reduction and improves concentration.  This state of well-being enhances sports performance, endurance, balance, and improves focus and quality of other workouts. 

Power Yoga:   A powerful, meditative and possibly aerobically challenging class where classic yoga postures are linked by movement and guided by breath.  May include standing, balancing, and seated movements and will focus on increasing strength, flexibility and stability.

Tai Chi:   Tai Chi is a Chinese internal martial art developed at least 300 years ago but may have its origins nearly 2000 years ago. A Tai chi form is a set of exercises or specific, carefully orchestrated movements. Tai Chi is a non-contact, non-combatie way of improving health and energy and reducing stress. It's practice promotes flexibility, balance and physical control.

Yoga:  is derived from the Sanskrit root "Yuj" which means to join or union.  Yoga is based on an extremely subtle science, one of the body, mind and soul.
Yoga makes the body strong and flexible, stabilizes the emotions, and brings clarity to the mind.  Its been accepted that it will improve function of respiratory, circulatory, digestive and hormonal systems.  Yoga has the potential to provide each of us with the skills to improve heath, foster serenity and expand awareness.

Yoga Fusion:   A contemporary blend of yoga postures, Pilates principles, and exercises designed to give your body flexibility, strength and a strong core.
